Solar teachings pervaded the cultures of every European and Asiatic civilization in ancient times. There appears to have been one original teaching at some remote period in prehistory, which fragmented as cultures broke apart. This original teaching was solar and at one time permeated ancient high religious Orders all over the world.

Ancient sun priests and priestesses from all over the world – Europe, India, China, Persia, Egypt, Peru – practiced the sacred Teachings, and when they met together they experienced fellowship and were able to overcome language and cultural barriers because of their love of, and union with, the sun. An original follower of Jesus would have had little difficulty in communicating love and brotherhood to a disciple of Viracocha. The same would apply to a follower of Buddha meeting a disciple of Lao Tzu. They lived ways of life that had much in common. If a follower of any one of these Teachers were exposed to the sacred literature of the other Teachers, they would understand that literature because each possessed the key to interpreting the Teachings, which had a common origin.

The Essaei of Israel were one such sect and masters of this universal solar lore.

The Essaei Document: Secrets of an Eternal Race portrays a rare glimpse into a Community of unique individuals from some 2000 years ago, who had a reputation of living in excess of a hundred years. They possessed and guarded a secret knowledge of cosmic phenomena that was somehow related to the sun and the symbolic use of light. The Essaei were an Order of men and women who held themselves to be the real elect of Israel, the true remnant who had remained faithful to an earlier covenant and had preserved the Oral Teachings of Moses and the prophets. They placed great importance upon the sacred calendar and on the unchanging supernatural Order regulated by the “Laws of the Great Light of Heaven” manifest in the universe, by which they were able to gain knowledge and wisdom over the natural order and learn the secrets of Creation and the power of the Angels of Light.

Jesus was not merely the son of a simple carpenter, unschooled and unlettered, but an Essaei teacher with a respected and authorized sect behind him. He was the Messiah whom the sect had long awaited. He had been schooled in his youth by Essaei teachers, which may explain why there is no reference to this period in his life. His Essaeic theology and beliefs are quite clear when one compares the New Testament Gospel accounts with the Essaei scrolls. The Essaei carried on the tradition of the earlier religion of the sun—not as sun worship, as might be assumed, but as a religion of Light. Jesus was restoring the ancient religion of Moses, which was a secret doctrine based on the light of the sun.
